Edwardian High Top Shoes

Will go on auction tomorrow night. Thanks to Jonathan I know these date from 1917-1922 and have a cuban heel. However, to me a high top shoe is a high cut shoe that ends below the ankle, these are boots.

 

Thanks, Jonathan, did I take down my notes wrong? I put boot and shoe in the auction so maybe I will be covered, but I will go back and check again.<p>Lizzie, there was no size I could find. The outside length is 10 - 10 1/4 inches, the outside width is 2 3/4 to 3 inches and the heel is 2 inches. Total Height from bottom of heel to top, about 10 inches. That width could probably expand since the leather is so soft.

 

Oh, I also have another pair that are burgundy in color and date from about 1915 - 1918 with the cuban heel. Soon as I get them cleaned up and take pics, I will let you know.
