    Help dating/identifying...what's the front and what's the back?! Haha. Would this be worn over another blouse? I'm much better at identifying 1940's and later, this early stuff has me a little stumped and I don't want to list it without much information!

    It is difficult to say with these photos but I am not seeing Edwardian. Perhaps a 1930s overblouse that would have gone over a dress.

    it was found along with other Edwardian style pieces so I just assumed it was around that era!

    it's also entirely single stitched, there's no surging whatsoever and some different thread colors as well that lead me to believe it was an early 1900's piece

    also it's a silky material - the buttons look to be ivory or something similar. there's no tags or anything, I'd believe it's handmade.
