Eye Candy - Victorian Fashion

A beautiful bodice with an abundance of sleeve puffs and frill.
Although, I think about the person who had to flat iron this piece in the day.

 

That's the first thing I thought - Heavens... the ironing needed.

That's a classic silhouette from the mid 1890s - big, wide sleeves, tiny waist and small hairstyle with height but no width.

And yes, ironing those sleeves is shoot me emoti.

 

Leg o mutton sleeves - love!

 

That bodice is achingly beautiful, and her face is so serene.
