Hi All, I've got a peasant-style dress that I need a little fabric ID help with. It seems to be cotton, but what do you call this specific type of textured fabric? I see some similar items being called 'cotton gauze' on Etsy but that doesn't sound right to me. Thoughts?

I checked out 'crinkled muslin' and that does look pretty similar. Thanks!

Terms vary by the country too. In the UK cheesecloth is the name of a light shirting weight soft cotton which is most often bleached but can be dyed, and is characterized by a crinkled texture.
