I am doing little day trips on my first week of holidays because I have to go in and work Wednesday night because it is a busy night and no one else can do my job. How terrible and fantastic, eh?!

Anyhow, I went to a Quebec Flea Market today. Half mannequin with oak stand was $40. Cowboy costume in original box was $20. Apple seed purse was $10 and fantastic flapper wedding photograph with card was $5.

I forgot these dead stock sneakers for $5. In my size!

I was thinking about going to a flea market this Saturday. This thread has encouraged me. Perhaps I will have some pix to post next week. Thanks for sharing Linda.

Finally went to a Flea market yesterday too....nothing that exciting but I did get a fabulous Louis Feraud scarf a La Mucha in style, 2 pairs of gloves, another silk scarf and a fun Christian Dior tie. Will post a pic later!

Oh, do go on Saturday. I had a great day. I look forward to all photos. I cleaned all my finds and they look fantastic in their new home.

Leave plenty of time for travel and parking. There was bumper to bumper traffic for 5km. It has rained all summer here so everyone was itching their flea bites!!

I use a backpack but had to walk the mannequin to my vehicle as soon as I bought it. Bring plenty of water and pack your own lunch. Also, it gets hot walking around ( this was a huge market ).

Speaking of mannis at the flea market, I could not help but snap a shot of this one.
She's on my instagram page as Mannequin Down! Remember to wear a good hat to keep out all that sun.
I wore one of my vintage wide brimmed straws!

Thanks, Linda and so do you!!! I only wish the flea had more clothing. As I only usually go once a year, there probably is some more interesting stuff that shows up at some points - it's also very big and difficult to fully cover.
  9. I love the mannequin. I can never resist getting another one, although I have quite the collection of different years and styles.
