Does anyone have any information on the French designer Calixte? I have found only a few references online and only one piece in a museum collection. I work for a museum with a Calixte playsuit in the collection and it's one of our most loved pieces, so hoping to learn more about the designer.

I know the name from Théâtre de la Mode.

One of my favorite dresses on display at the Maryhill Museum, which houses the Théâtre, is a long bare-backed evening gown in vertical bias panels of pink, blue lavender, cream, black and gray rustic linen, by Calixte. The cowl could be worn as a hood.

Oh wow... this was amongst the Théâtre de la Mode outfits reproduced for the Tyler Wentworth doll:

I couldn't remember the designer's name - but seeing the image rang a bell!
