OK, I have finally deduced that the belt buckle I found is from a pair of vintage men's swimming trunks.

    The buckle is really cool:

And from what I HAVE found out about the company, it looks as though it's from the 1930's...1940's

    Anyone have any more info?

    Thanks!

(The buckle was in a vintage sewing machine attachment box...)

  2. Very cool. I'm not sure what your title "Gantner" refers to, but you may want to edit your title to include 30s swimming trunk belt buckle to draw attention to those who know swimwear etc..

Thanks, Nicole--I'd already found those 2...

There isn't a lot out in the cyber sphere about men's old trunks...

It was an interesting find for me, though!

Does anyone know anything more about the company?

I did find another ad on Worthpoint, though.
