Gilardini Shoes

Hello,

I have a pair of black suede Gilardini loafers that I'm trying to date.

The markings on the footbeds are partially gone. There are two lines of text engraved on the sole of the shoe. The top line I can't quite read, the bottom line is Artigiana.

I haven't found Gilardini shoes associated with Artigiana in my research.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

I suspect they actually aren't as old as they look at first. The style is an older one, but I think these are 1970s.
