I have two items from Givenchy I believe are from the 80s. A long camel coat and a pink coat?blazer? unsure. They are both Made in France and are hand-numbered under the tag. Are these two labels high-end couture? If so, what avenues can I look to for pricing these particular labels for re-sale? Thank you!
Can you show us the hand numbering and are there any other fabric care labels? An auction house that does vintage clothing might be able to help with value like Augusta Auctions.
Hi Mary Jane, It's impossible to take a photo of the numbering. Its placement prevents it, I'd have to take the label up on one side. The number for the long coat is 60155 and for the pink coat, it's 75982. There are no other labels on either piece. They are beautifully stitched, I believe silk linings. The long coat is a soft wool and the pink one feels like cashmere. Thank you!
