Go Go dress? What\'s the fabric?

Boy oh boy, I'd love to see who'd be bold enough to wear this one! Super short mini and see-throug-ish? Yeah, I'm thinking KILLER body!!!

    What does everyone think of:

60’s Devilish Mod GoGo Mini Dress Peekaboo Fabric!

As far as fabric, i know there are a lot of synethetics that might not be in wide use anymore, but you might want to go to a fabric store and spend some time looking at and feeling a variety of fabrics and look at the different weaves so when you encounter them you will be able to identify them the next time you see them. It might not always apply being that a lot of your items are 60s, but i found it really helped me :)

Patent, if I was going to sell long term I would absolutely learn alot more about fabrics! Honestly though, I'm just trying to get through my lot :saint:
I know it's cheating to keep coming back here, when so many people are doing the leg work on knowing their fabrics, but I'm both over-worked & lazy! What a combo! ;)
Soooooooo.. is peekaboo accurate in describing it? I mean it's DEF see-through! I'd only wear it after extensive plastic surgery!!! It's def for a tanned Jessica Simpson type!

Oh, I wasn't meaning that you were cheating hee hee.

It is just hard sometimes not seeing the garment live and touching it to give a really accurate right on determiniation.

Sometimes for lack of other things is to describe the qualities of it in your listing (sheer, floaty, heavy, ribbed, etc.)

Oooh I gotcha! Yeah, you're right, it would def help to feel/touch the fabric. I just always assume people see the fabric the same way I do ;)
Does it look see-through-ish to you at all?

It does look see-through... you'd have to choose your underwear very carefully! Wish you could get those body-stocking things they used to have in the 60s. Everytime I venture out in my fave crochet dress and my mother sees me she has a mild fit thinking I'm going to get jumped on. Tried to wear it to a Who gig once as I thought it'd be a giggle putting Roger Daltrey off his singing (*very* easy to do), but when I called in at my mothers on the way to the gig she made me get changed incase I got attacked on my way back to the car after the gig. :(

Anyway, I think that dress is super fabulous and "60’s Devilish Mod GoGo Mini Dress Peekaboo Fabric!" is spot on as a title! And I think there's quite a few people out there brave enough to wear it.

    love, moons and starrs,
    Senti.*

That is a funny story Senti (mother making you change :)

I guess someone could be bold and wear just their regular underthings, but perhaps this would be worn with a slip under it just like the older lace overdresses so you would still have the seethrough aspect without looking naked. Or some other type of an underdress in a contrasting color. But then again, someone could be very bold :)
