This is my gold purse question continued...I added some more detailed photos so its easier to see...
There is no tag inside the purse, there's a zipped compartment in the middle, and its a vinyl type material...

What does everyone think?

l would date it at anywhere from early 60's to early 70s.....but if you want me to pin it down..l'd edge toward '64-68....
 
Thus is the problem with generic cocktail purses...they didn't change much, at least not as much as daily use purses. The coil chain is a good indication that it's latter 60s through the 80s, though, but not earlier. I've had cocktails with link chains through the 60s but not many from after that. Given that it's vinyl and just from a vibe, I agree with Sara and Harriett on the dates given.
 
I am going to fly with the mid 60's as this is when this style of clutch purse was so popular, so much so that my mother owned one and I still have it!!!! (its in my purse stash which has now become trunks full vs just a couple hanging around)
