Handmade 70's or 80's? Leather jacket

I found a handmade? patchwork leather jacket, but I'm not sure of the date. The leather patchwork is similar to 70's jackets that were like the East West Musical Instruments jackets, but the shoulders, and bolero style are more like the 80's. It appears to have been sewn by hand using a machine, and is fully lined in a satin like material. This may have been for a performer, since the colors are a little wild. Thanks for any help

This sure looks 80s to me... the bolero style, the colors, the fusion of Southwest and 80s.
