    Hi Everyone,
Wondering if this is a 70s or 80s dressing gown and also wondering what those little metal circle snaps are for...is it just to give weight and help garment lay flat?
    Thanks for any help

I think based on what I have seen and read it may be earlier that 70s/80s. Possibly late 50s early 60s. The snaps I think would be there to help keep it closed.

Thanks Attirely. There are snaps on the front edges of the garment to snap it shut but these are half snaps in the arm hole area.

Are the half snaps in the bottom half of the armhole? If so, they may have been used to attach dress shields.
