There are no trademarks on this brooch, and I honestly have no idea what decade it came from. Any ideas?

It looks C. 1950's to me.

There is no mark on the back; it's just a scratch.

omg. I figured it out... bugging me all night. Is it Stuart Nye? If so, begin searching [ Stuart Nye dogwood brooch ] or [ vintage Stuart Nye jewelry].

It might be Stuart Nye...it's unsigned though, wouldn't anything by him by signed? Also, I can't find an exact match, but I do see some similar pieces.

  8. It looks late 50s- early 1960s to me. It would be very helpful to see the mark.

What color is the metal? Is it plated or a solid metal? It is very attractive. I also see 1950s in this piece.

The metal looks like silver, but I assume it must be silver plated because there is no 925 or sterling mark.

Update: the piece is magnetic, so definitely plated.

Not all Stuart Nye is stamped and some eras had just a hang tag.
