Help Dating Cummerbund and Bowtie set and Fabric type?

    There are absolutely no labels anywhere on this set. Any sense of dating?
    Also, I'm not sure what to call this fabric.

    To my untrained eye it looks like a wool jacquard, however i'm not an expert, is there a raised pattern or background? Is it a knitted fabric?

    Difficult to date without "feeling" the fabric. The pattern makes it look a little more modern but I would guess 1960s.

    I was thinking late 1980s thru 90s with that print.

    I concur, my first thought on the print is that looks late 80s.

    The pattern was throwing me too, but the bow tie is too small for the 80s, and I don't remember that type of hook closure on bow ties of the 80s... I have a set from the 80s and will double check.
