Hello! I wondered if anyone could help me date these Ferragamo shoes :) I understand that the company repeated styles over the years so I wondered if these would be possibly originals or repeats.
    Thank you for any advice!

Heather, I am so glad you posted this. I also recently received two pair of Ferragamos, and am not absolutely sure how to date them. I'm thinking that the inside label may be a clue. I'd like to learn more about dating Ferragamo, so am tagging our Ferragamo afficionado (there may be more).

    And I am including my shoes here also. I haven't cleaned them up yet. 5A6D0C2B-E305-4D64-B8F3-D528F043A63F_1_201_a.jpeg 791B9D30-66BA-4F7E-BBDD-82A745BE3967_1_201_a.jpeg E3EB5018-2CD8-4FA1-AEE7-B8C9590025FE.jpeg 5D0110DB-853F-46CB-96C6-6A3B9733B3FB_1_201_a.jpeg C9D7D0B6-9997-4A2B-8C5D-34D4F1A6863C_1_201_a.jpeg 3E513CC1-C7C8-44BD-A374-1F9A19778F12_1_201_a.jpeg 39950D69-594C-4051-BB30-70A7E1CBA1A8_1_201_a.jpeg EE5D3C30-C2C8-4201-89C0-F8DE729A174A_1_201_a.jpeg 4A04CD86-1252-4103-A420-4A033DD65826_1_201_a.jpeg D21E6548-CF1D-419E-B53D-C7CCC179031E.jpeg

The flats are sized 10B, and the crocodile ones are size 8AAAA (thinking the sizing helps us date them?)

Thanks for the additional photos, Heather! My guess is 70s, also due to the toe shape.

Janine, yours are more even in the "classic" sphere, especially the pair with the iconic Ferragamo bow. I'm thinking 80s on the second pair, because of the heel and toe shape.

Thank you Karin! I wondered if the color was also a bit 70’s :)

That almond shaped toe, skinny buckled strap, and nude coloured leather are all strong mid 70s features.
