help dating polka dot dress

    any help placing date would be appreciated. i believe it has a lot number tag, but no other indication. shoulder pads and contrasting polka dot / grid print cotton fabric. thank you!

    I see 80s and I see 50s. The fact that it has a lot number tag makes me think it's 50s. Could you post a pic of the tag?
