help dating this suit and curious about the label

maybe its not even vintage? I don't knowwww. It feels like wool, the lining feels/looks like silk. The skirt is unlined and has one pocket, closure shown. Jacket buttons and lining shown as well as the tag.

What do you guys think?!

I had a total buying spree today so this maybe is my only question or maybe more to follow

I cannot be sure but it looks 1960s to me...let's see what others have to say. It may help to see it posed on a manni.

Is that skirt original length, do you think?

yes, it looks to be it’s original length. No evidence of any alteration and the inner seam looks professional and matches that of the jacket - the skirt has A LOT of volume. I had to pin it on the mannequin and the pic is kind of crappy but it’s almost like a circle skirt

Something about it - probably the length of the full flared skirt and the close fitting jacket make me think late 1970s.
