Help identify Snakeskin purse labeled "Made in R.S.A."

Hi. I did some basic research, and can not find where in the world the R.S.A. is! Two organizations come up. One is a cyber security org, and the other seems to be humanitarian or art related. I've also search what I thought was a label name, KASU, KASA, KAVA, etc but I'm beginning to think that is a product number rather than a label. The purse has some wear in the usual places, and I also would like to know if it is vintage. Thank you! Lori

 

Found it. Republic of South Africa. I don't see very many out there, but I also don't know much about the dates of product export. Now if I can get an idea of age... Thanks!!
