    Hi
Can anyone help me identify the type of fur and possibly the age and value of this fur coat. There is some damage on the bottom as pictured, otherwise it's in great condition.
    Thanks for any help!

  2. I think it may be nutria. I’m sure our fur expert will drop in to offer help.

I've never heard of nutria. I'll look it up. Also, the collar is made of a different fur which is softer and darker and more uniform in color.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

It does look similar to nutria but it is natural length beaver with a fox fur tuxedo collar.
