Help Identifying Vintage Fur Coat

    Hello! My grandmother just gave me one of her vintage fur coats and I’m stumped as to which kind of animal it’s made of. She thought chinchilla, but I’m having serious doubts on that. Is it rabbit perhaps? It’s extremely soft to the touch. image.jpg image.jpg

    Possibly gray squirrel, as you say it is very soft and the pelts appear to be small.
