Hi, unfortunately we cannot authenticate items according to our forum rules. We may be able to help with dating, but for that wo would also need full photos showing the shape of the jeans front and back.

So here is my take so far without seeing a full image of the jeans. The back label looks odd for one as the font is different. There is an Australian Lee Jeans company which is a trendier than what we find recently in the US. Since these are made in Australia I’m guessing if they aren’t fakes then that’s what they are. Lee Jeans Australia has a line/collection of “classic” pieces called “Union Made” so that could be what these are and that’s a modern line so these are likely not vintage. That’s what I can gather from just these images.

I'm thinking late 90s to y2k era, there was a big movement on distressed denim and definitely had fade patches in similar placements. In saying this they could still be more modern than that as lots of jeans companies still have jeans with fade patterns.

  7. Yikes, to me that is modern. I keep forgetting that was 20-25 years ago!

Yes, and there was another phase, early 00's when it was really, really overdone and I was soooo frustrated because classic indigo is my thing.
