Help on this hat... Victorian? 40\'s? What??

Alright, I have this slightly flattened hat that I think may be Victorian but I found in more a 1940's pile of vintage at the flea market. Apologies for its lack of form but I couldn't get it to straighten out yet.

It looks more like early to mid 40's to me.
Just my personal opinion, of course.
I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me in this area, will be along soon to help.
    Have a nice day,

It looks like a juliet hat from the very late 1940s - just into the 1950s period. They cover most of the hair and the bow would be at the nape.
