HELP! Too Enamored to Think Straight (Dress ID Help Please❤️)

I know I've said this before but I found another dream dresses today and I'm so eager to learn and know everything about it. Hoping to hear your gorgeous thoughts on what fabrics might have been used to construct this thing in my living room that keeps making me drool and any dressmakers that may have been around and perhaps creating similar pieces at the time (I assume this was made somewhere in the early 60s, but please correct me if you think otherwise).

    This textile is called Matelasse and is a "bubbled" polyester with gold lame thread. Absolutely 1960s shift dress. Lovely!

    Gorgeous fabric. I'd put it more in the mid-to-late 60s, rather than early 60s.
