Help w/ dating 40s Max Koff dress

    I got this dress recently and am trying to narrow down when it might have possibly been designed. 2nd pic dress is on the far right

    Pretty thick shoulder pads, though not the thickest 40s ones I've seen. Rayon. Belt loops for a belt. I think it might be a tall size as the belt loops hit a couple inches below my waist and I am 5'5". Skirt when accounting for waist hits a couple inches above my ankle.

    Also, has anyone heard of "tall sizes" being produced as far back as the 40s?

    I agree with Suzanne. It can be a very flattering silhouette. An example from a dress in my Etsy shop

    Yeah, there is some interest already. Early or mid 50s? I'm assuming not later but who knows?
