    Good afternoon,

I recently found this Hudson Bay coat at a thrift store in wonderful condition and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to the age of it? I have scoured the internet and cannot find one coat similar to this one to give me an idea of the approx age of it. Greatly appreciate anyone’s thoughts? Thanks

  2. Great coat. Love HBC blanket coats. This one dates to the 70s. The style, the bilingual labelling as well as the Canadian union label support that.

Are there any dark horizontal lines on the inside?

Thank you so much for your reply and information. There are no lines inside, just a quilted satin lining.

It looks like typical HBC blanket coat material from my phone screen. Usually the lines denote the thickness of the coat. They’re called points.
