help with identifiying fur please

hi ive been clearing out my mums attic and came across this fur coat it is real fur but i dont know which as it seems to be 2 diffrent types the collar part is long where the body is shorter there are no labels i hope someone can tell me what it is thankyou.

Looks like mink for the body and a fox fur collar.

 

thankyou deborah was it custom to use 2 diffrent animals ive not come across it before .

Not unusual to have two different furs.

 

Yep, it’s mink with a fox fur collar. Adding fox trim on other fur types is quite common. It adds fullness and makes garments more dramatic.
