    Hello,
I would like to list this purse but am slightly unsure about the materials and decade.
The crochet seems to be made of string (not wicker).
My guess is that the frame and chain are plain plastic but I'm not sure - maybe bakelite or cellulite?
As far as I know the bag is from the 1970s.

Would love some help and guidance here
    Thank you!

    Is it a cotton cord?
If it's 1970s, thats'a bit late for celluloid. If it's Bakelite, it's also probably earlier. You can test for bakelite withthe hot water method.

Looks 1960s to me, maybe early 70s. Plastic but not Bakelite or any early plastic. That anchor chain was popular in the 60s. The crochet cording looks synthetic to me. It is a nice purse!

    Thank you!
It looks like cotton cord but it's more crass and that's why I things it's synthetic string.
