This is gorgeous, it came from an upscale store outside of Pittsburgh and still has the original tags. It is a Count Romi and it looks like linen.

It looks like an elegant evening coat, it is way to big on Carmelita so you really can not tell that the sleeves are bracelet length, I belive that is what the length is called. The sleeves are 14 1/2" from the underarm.

I am thinking late 50's or early 60's.

The tailoring is gorgeous and very well made.

Any help on the style or some key description words?

    Thanks

Oh I forgot this label is from COUNT ROMI, LTD...this did not come from the old family strore..but does still have the tags from an upscale boutique outside Pittsburgh that closed quite some time ago!

I've got a couple of Count Romi coats too Susan but yours is PINK!!!

According to this 1993 article Count Romi has been in business since 1961 so I would guess early 60's.
Tried to C&P the article but it wouldn't let me:(

Thanks Karen...I it reminds me of something Jackie O would have worn with a little pill box pink hat...or no?

Yes I can see that even though she would have been swimming in this one.
But I think the size will really open up your bidding audience.
    Great for Easter Sunday;)
