History of Men's Gloves - 1900 - 1960

    I thought THIS BLOG was interesting. My Dad often wore gloves. He also wore sock garters for a long time!

    Fascinating! I'd never heard of the term "day gloves" before, and didn't realize fingerless gloves went back centuries.

    And the notion that men in the 20s wore white gloves to protect their dancing partners' dresses (and delicate fingers)--wow!

    I just sold a pair of sock garters recently to Germany...just received feedback for them, he loves them.
