  1. Just finished reading my Lucky Magazine for August, 2004. Made some quick notes on what is and will be hot.

    <b>Short Jackets..Pair with jeans, skirts, etc.
    Black & White Print Dresses
    Tweed Shoes
    Riding Pants, Jodphurs
    Hanky Hems
    Capes, Shawls
    High Neck 70s 80s Blouses, puffed sleeves, etc.
    Rolled sleeved jackets, shirts
    to show a little of sleeve underneath
    Culottes are back
    Cobalt Blue
    Layering Chiffon blouses with tank tops, sweater vests, etc.
    Mismatched Earrings
    Dressy Hoodies
    40s look Platforms
    High Waist Pencil Skirts
    Flirty, Flouncy Skirts
    Shirtdress worn as dress, coat, etc.
    70s pantsuits
    Suede Boots
    Mini Jean Skirts
    Cropped Jeans and pants, wear with boots
    Black Jeans
    Motorcycle Style Jackets, Leather and Denim
    Cardigans paired with silk print skirts
    Boucle anything
    Tweed anything...hats etc.
    Cashmere sweaters worn different ways..belted, etc.
    Pleated skirts
    Corduroy Blazers
    Purple</b>

    Interesting list as I could have guessed some of it (40's platforms have been strong sellers for a couple of years now on ebay) and some of it was getting strong last fall and winter, like corduroy jackets, but were black jeans ever out the past 10 years? and I have to say the mismatched earring thing is interesting...
     
  4. Yes, the magazine said the mismatched earrings were big in the 80s. With its coming back, it is a little more matching, though. It shows one earring with turquose beads and a little gold elephant. The other earring just has the beads.
