I am just a little title dead right now. (suprised?)

This is just a fab orange 60s 3 piecer. Matching skirt, jacket AND top...all you have to do is add shoes and you are good to go...well, you might want underthings, but you are on your own for that... It truly could be three season, and all three great pieces make sense on their own. (there are a lot of skirts or jackets that just make you say "hey, where is the rest of the suit.") wear em all, just two, or one...with jeans, a simple black or white top...or be really daring and pair some with scraming lime green! The skirt is partially lined as well. (and on a slightly larger person than my no backed tiny girl, it would even look more fetching!

That title to me says "so what?"

any input? I can definitely describe it, just need a few buzz words maybe for the title.

WOW!! 60s Orange 3 Pc Suit!! VTA!!!

And people don't search for excalmation points.

And what are the flowers? Crysanthamums are my best guest.

I second Crysanthamums... I'm at a loss as to how to best title it though...

    ""Mmmmmmmm creamsicle! ""

its the perfect orange...its not harsh...its not burnt orange (which is a nice color but doesn't work on everyday)...and is not that indescribable shade that is between orange and coral either. It also isn't pumpkin halloween orange, which is good too..but some folks don't like pairing that with black as it can be too "theme-y"

I have been hesitating to put knit in a lot of titles (unless it is a sweater of course!) because of the stigma of knit = means double knit =means poly (the kind that is not widely well liked), but i think i should just get over myself. It's an antron knit.

I had its fraternal twin (same, but collar was different) in a deep red that i sold earlier this year, and whose (well its a suit, so it is not a who) label is in the resource.

  5. I thought it was dreamsicle!! Or what about those orange push ups! Orange sherbet.

Is there a label? It almost looks like a Butte knit.

I like the bright and easy thing, Kevin...

Its a Glengarry...i would bet the farm on it. Got this from an estate. Same as the Lilli Ann i had. All of her other suits were Glengarry. And I had the suit that was its fraternal twin in deep red. identical down to the fabric, the way its lined etc, except for the collar...and the label was Glengarry. the label on this one fell off or was removed over the years.

Alright last question...this is right smack dab in the middle of the 60s. would you put it into the up until 64 category or the 65 and later. the other glengarrys were very clearly 64 and pre...but when something is just in the middle its hard to decide...

  8. I would put it in both....
I normally don't like orange but your suit really stands out, I like it.
No help on a title, my brain is scattered right now...

heck..i would be scattered with excitement to if i found a VICUNA.

The last pic isn't the true color...the others are more indicative...

i might just do that..put it in both..so people can if it goes with their "look"

How about "pumpkin"? I always associate pumpkins with
Fall, and I've noticed that several Fall mags have used
'pumpkin' for orange coloured items. I like 'creamsicle' too!

I'm zonked, as far as any other words go....sorry!

its not quite pumpkin.... and i think there are folks who don't want to look like a pumpkin in a suit unless they are zero bodyfat or its halloween...otherwise the looking like a pumpkin thing might not sit well in their minds.

Ooohhh, what a divinely zingy psychedelic tangeriney colour, I love it! It's such a classic sixties orange!

And it looks *very* Jeannie of "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)" which the non-Brits won't understand, but believe me it's fab. And if the skirt were only a little shorter it would be *very* Alexandra Bastedo in The Champions. Deffinately something for the British dollybirds of swinging London. *love* it!

    love, moons and starrs,
    Senti.*

hmmm....that does make it sound a little more zingy. in fact i think i will use that word in my description. i personally love it, if it was just a touch smaller i'd be keeping it...and the new owner can always hem if the chose .
    to.

don't know randall and hopkirk...we have BBC america that plays all the brit shows, but not that one..lots of Monty Python, the Young Ones, et al though..

so its not Mod, but rather "swinngin mid 60s society london"
