I have to admit, I largely bought this dress for the label alone. How CUTE is it??? Is it just me or does 'The Marmalade Set' sound a smidge similar to 'The Ginger Group'?? ;) Even the style and fabric of the dress is pure Quant!! So, has anyone heard of Rae Hepburn and is this dress as cute as I think it is??

I have never heard of the label, but you are right... I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
That is extremely cute!! I don't know about the label either. have you searching on the internet for that one yet?
Hi there!!! I've had a hunt around, but not found anything. I did find a Canadian Union label which surprised me very much! I found it in a charity shop in Brighton with two other dresses, one of which has a store tag from a store in Vancouver so I'm now assuming they all came from the same person.
Interesting! I think that a lot of mysterious labels are in store brands, but this one....i have absolutely no clue! half the time i think these labels "john smith of whoever for.....-----" or "something by somebody" ...are not really anybody at all....just people that are the owners kids or someone made up. Like Betty Crocker. But i might just be proved wrong. I am beginning to think old local newspapers and archives might prove more helpful for missing links and brands than the internet sometimes..
