The only thing I know is that 1953 is the first year this stamp was used. It was Made in Occupied Japan after the was until 1952. The fabric is 3’ wide and at least 48’ long. It is hard to measure with out getting it dirty. I rescued it from an estate sale in Texas. Does anyone have any additional information about the stamp that was used?

    Beautiful Fabric!

Oh how interesting! I was looking into this a while ago but hit a brick wall. However I may have another bash at it, it would be handy to find some other (dated) images of those stamps to help with dating. Can you enhance the photo of the other marks at all to make them legible?
