Is this a flapper necklace or later repro?

Hi there! I got this sautoir necklace amongst a lot of vintage jewelry recently. I have had some great info on another forum but we still aren't sure the age of it! Is this an older necklace? What do you think the orange bead is made from, is it lucite? I'm assuming if it is lucite it would be from the later 193os? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks :)

From what you have shown, I would date this C. 1920s. I think the bead looks like it could be Bakelite. If you have a way to test the bead - test it. If not rub the bead until it is warm and then "sniff" it - if has a "chemical" smell, it is Bakelite.

I am not sure if your last photo is of a clasp or if it just missing beads? If it's a clasp, please post another close-ip. Is it strung on a fabric like cord?

    Thanks!.
