Is this an altered corset/girdle? Wonder Bra fleur de lis

    Hi There,
    Wondering about dating this and if it is an altered girdle? It doesn't really look like it's been cut but just not sure?
    Any help much appreciated!

    Kind of looks like that bottom piece was added, doesn't it?

    That's what I had thought Cinthia but I have found this photo which looks very similar....thinking 50s? early 60s? I think mine has had some stretched out stress on the bottom band. [​IMG]

    Looks like it might have been designed as an added piece to slim down the waist.
