Is this dress 1970s or 80s?

Sorry it's me again!

I bought this dress at a thrift store and I'm not sure if it is late 70s or early 80s. There is no brand label but there is a label that states 100% polyester, hand dry in cold water or dry clean. There is a size (18) but it is nowhere near as large as a modern 18. I originally guessed at late 70s but I've seen several other listings like this online - some have stated that it is 70s and others 80s.

What are your thoughts?
