Is this pink leather a jacket or a car coat?

Discussion in 'PUBLIC Vintage Fashion - Ask Questions Get Answers' started by Vintage Sedona, Jan 30, 2005.

  1. Hellooooo VLV! Would this be a jacket, a coat or a girlie bomber? What what? Details are rhinstones and pearls. I am going to list it at $199 with a BIN of $300. Is that reasonable? I spent a lot on it.

    Thanks as always! Kelly

Car coats are longer. More like a 3/4 with no gathering at the waist band for ease of siting in a car. they cover the rear for the most part.

I love the "Girlie Bomber" image. It is not really a traditional bomber jacket, it is more of a cropped leather jacket, but i would not hesitate to mention that the first thought that came to mind was that.

Use "jewel encrusted" in the description somewhere and do not forget to mention pearls and rhinestones!

  4. I love that!

We need to get Michelle, DesignerTrend, to help you with the pricing. That's right up her alley!!

  5. Thanks.. Another piece I am so tempted to keep, but VISA says otherwise. Groan.

  6. It is fantastic! I think "motorcycle" jacket before "bomber," but more for the 'patent leather biker.' Um, girlie greaser? I think your pricing's reasonable, though freeBay buyers....

Oooooh that's so fabulous! I'd have killed for that when I was going out with 'the biker' - although I'm sure he'd have been mortified ;)
