I recently acquired a large collection of clothes from someone with a very unusual flair for fashion! (this collection also included a PUCCI :D which I will need help with later)

This set is from Saks Fifth Avenue and features a robe with slits on the sides, matching pants underneath, and a gold trim with rhinestones. Can someone please help with what exactly to call it and what category to put it in? Is it a dress? Or loungewear? I think it would be 70's??

For some reason I couldn't see the pics before. Just gorgeous, looks chic rich lady out in the lounge martini in hand, admirers or money hungry friends surrounding her.

I think it's called a "hostess" outfit. Very chic. Women would wear hostess outfits when they hosted parties in their homes. I guess so that you can move around freely and pick up that martini olive someone dropped on the shag carpet gracefully...

:D at the thought of the shag carpeting. I remember having to rake the thing after shampooing....hahahaha!

Thanks for the information and help. I will hopefully have this up this afternoon....
