Is this considered a Kimono and is it for a lady or a man?

Age perhaps? Clueless on this type of garment.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

50s possibly picked up during the Korean war?

It look slike a heavy crepe haori. I seem to remember that men's are usually black or solid with small crests? But I am sure someone who knows more will be along.

Thank you so much. That is very helpful.

Would love to narrow the age down. I am thinking during the Korean War?

Would only be able to guess at the age, which would be 1950s, but just to second the haori. It looks like shibori (intricate tie-dye). Men's were usually black with crests and sometimes had art on the lining they weren't allowed to show in public. Men's haori have the hanging sleeve attached to the body most or all of the way.
