Does anyone have knowledge about Lacoste labels?

I picked this cardigan up from a charity shop and don’t know what to make of the tags. Apparently some of Lacoste’s older stuff was made in Spain but not too sure. There is also a little label with an ‘E’ symbol on the back of the right breast - not sure what this means either.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Lee

Hiya, it's likely early 80's. 'Chemise' Lacoste was in use both in the 70's and early 80's but the styling and abundance of care symbols would suggest it is in the early 80's bracket to me.
