I found a sweater made of angora and lambswool. It's very soft and I was wondering what is the best way to wash it? I looked on google but most places say to dry clean it but I don't want to risk losing the softness of the sweater.

I have handwashed these. I lay them flat in the tub and let them soak in Orvus. Then drain and refill tub with clean cold water a couple times to rinse. Roll up in towels to get rid of more water, then lay flat to dry on more towels.
