  1. Let\'s Share Our Favorites (Helpful Links)

So what do you have in your favorites folder?
Lets share some links that we think are the most helpful.
Whether it is auction tools like snipe progams or templates or free gifs or pinups or vintage related like fabric or lace id sites....well you get the idea.

    I'll start:

    Auction Tools:
    Auction Counts Ebay Stats

    Ebay Phone Numbers

Free Auction Tools Great site! Free sniping program, Power adder adds something to all of your auctions at one time, feedback tools, and tons more!

    Keyword suggestion tool

    Another Free Sniper

    Negative FB Finder

I'll post my favorite Fashion and Fabric links later.

    Who's next?

  2. Great thread, Marie! ...and, garshk, 'cause you've caught me with my almost-non-functioning-IE pants down, but there are a couple of favorites I know by heart, anyway...

http://www.all-about-fabrics.com/ (for their fabric dictionary) and
http://www.tips2toes.com/ (for their shoe sizing instructions and conversions)

Marie, like that negative finder! I hate trying to weed
through pages looking for negs if I'm interested in
something of a seller's, and they have several negs!

A great search engine, which is relatively new, however
    is growing, is <a href="http://www.vivisimo.com">Vivisimo</a>

This will cluster search results, which really cuts down on
    time spent searching.

Does anyone have a link to a good site with templates for tables? I had one bookmarked, but between computer crashes and so on, it's been misplaced.

I have been finding a lot of company info on this site Its a USPTO its for thier trademarks. Tells when the company applied what the trademark looks like. What they manufactured.

offers several languages. Many of the translations can be rough as it is not a human translating it, but one might be able to get the gist.

don't know if this is any help but useful for finding out about more modern designers and fashion houses

    http://www.dressforsuccess.nl/Fashion-Designers.html

and a bit random but ultimately quite useful - used this for deadstock which still had tags to work out exactly how many weeks wages (US) that the dress would have cost in 1953 etc... maybe it's just me that finds that interesting!

  17. I just had to question myself, go check, and edit my reptile platforms info., as they're alligator--not crocodile. Someone else here posted this link, a long time ago. This site is great for looking at the differences between gator, croc., and caiman...
