    Hi!
I purchased a hat at a vintage emporium during my trip to Australia a few years ago. Since then, I have been trying to find info about the hat and the designer in an attempt to date it with no success.
Any info anyone can provide is greatly appreciated!

The label in the hat says “Cathy Stuart”, “Made in Australia”, “Newcastle”, and is size “M”.

It appears to be machine stitched both on the outside and the lining.

My best guess is that the hat is made of some type of felt or velour on the outside, and the lining seems to just be cotton. I’m not a fabric expert. That’s just what it appears to me.

The hat is fairly flexible. I can flip the brim up or down, and even fold the hat inside out.
Let me know if there’s any more info I can provide. I couldn’t find any info online or here in the label resource about Cathy Stuart. I really hope someone here can help me. Thanks!
