One of my favorite posters on Facebook is the "Embroiderers Guild of Victoria." Here's what they say about this doll. This sweet antique doll dates to ca.1810. She's made from carved wood and has an adorable facial expression. She's about 35cm tall (14 inches) and is wearing an early muslin gown with metallic embroidery - likely re-purposed from another article of clothing.
