Made In Canada crest label on 80s (?) suede jacket?

Hi Everyone,
There's no other label on this jacket and I'm not sure if someone has just sewn this in? The label looks familiar to me but just wondering if you have any thoughts. Thanks alot,

I would say 80s onwards, the design has been around for yonks'.

Years ago I was back stage on some of the big shows and every so often promotion wear would appear, hats, scarves and jackets, that type of thing, I still have a few of mine.

Jackets especially only ever had a made in and care label and I am wondering if this is promotional wear of something.

Usually the jacket/item would be emblazoned with whatever was being promoted but the colour of this jacket is quite striking so wondering if that might be something.

Anyways that's my thoughts, that and it's a nice colour.

Edit, Just realized, it's suede, it won't be a promotional item.
