I work as a volunteer for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice here on the Isle of Wight UK. We are often donated interesting items of vintage clothing.
This label is on a beautiful brocade evening dress in maroon and black on a silvery ground. It has a very elaborate halter neck that is separate from the full boned under bodice, and originates from the waist. The waist has a separate buckled narrow belt. The skirt has panels which flare out to the hem, it is full length.
Any information will help us make the most we can for the hospice funds.
I have only found one item on line; a gingham all in one on Pinterest.

A picture of the garment as well would help. Got one? Sounds pretty.

Hello and thanks for replying. We are searching for a model to photograph the dress at its best. When we have will post some pics.
