I was told this necklace was 50's but I really got it for the colours, which I wear a lot. There is a mark on the clasp after 'sterling' that look like a funny L or 4 does anyone know what this is or signifies? It's so small I can only see it with a magnifying glass and couldn't get a good picture. Was she correct about the dating too, I couldn't comment as I really don't know anything about jewellery, I wouldn't expect such a nice clasp on a modern piece though.
