Well after a week of redecorating, painting and cleaning up the mess left, I'm pooped but I got a nice treat in the mail today, all the way from Australia!

    My new c. 1889- 1895 corset!

It's made out of drab coutil with drab sateen bone casings and has a 20" waist. I just love the pink ribbon and pink flossing!! It was made in Belgium by CK corsets and the model is "La Graciosa".

It is beautiful and looks like it is still in fabulous condition!

  3. Amazing and what a nice dress form to display it on! Thanks for sharing.

The dressform is from the late 1880's/ 1890's too and is adjustable. I've got an 1910 one too for my Edwardian things. I love antique forms as they display things so well.

Holy Crap! THAT'S A NICE ONE!

It would make the wearer look kind of nude in it too, since its a shade of flesh tone... those naughty Victorians...
