  1. I am pretty sure these are from the 70s cause they are SO wide, but I have a question. What bridge is that? <br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/bridgetie.jpg><br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/bridgetie2.jpg><br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/bridgetie3.jpg><br><br>And how would you describe the flower on the this one? <img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/flowertie2.jpg><br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/flowertie3.jpg><br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/flowertie4.jpg><br><br><img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia3/flowertie5.jpg><br><br>Should I sell them together?<p>TIA

I think seeing as they are two totally different ties I would sell separate.
Some guys may be into florals ( which looks like a pop art rendition of a Daisy) and some may be into the novelty.

Use the words Neck tie not necktie That seems to do better.

San Fransisco bridge ????? Don't really know.

I was thinking either the George Washington or the Golden Gate - I think Golden Gate is the one

My luck with ties hasn't been great, so personally I would list them together to save on effort.

I think its the Golden Gate - that one might be worth listing alone. It's got cross collector appeal I would think. People who live/work in San Fran or people who collect Golden Gate bridge stuff?

  8. Thanks!! My luck hasn't been that great with neck ties (thanks) either. Might just throw it out to the wolves.

  9. Neckties are a funny thing. Most of the ones I really like don't sell well. But I am still compelled to purchase the weird and wonderful. Hence, the large box of ties sitting in my ebay room!!

The flowery one has a bit of Peter Max like art there. Perhaps you could throw that in as a keyword somewhere.

I usually list what I have gathered over the past year for Father's Day. Got me thinking...how about a Father's Day "Parade of Ties" contest or fashion show here on the VFG????

  10. I thought Golden Gate, too.

...and ooooo, I like it, Bonnie!!!

  11. Bonnie, I like that idea. I, too, have a box of ties somewhere. Don't know why I purchase them...they just say buy me, buy me. Thanks for the keyword help.
